The Root chakra is the first chakra in the energy body, located at the base of the spine at the perineum, between the anus and the genitals. Its location signifies its role as a link between the physical world and our internal energy system. 

Gyana mudra is associated with the Root chakra and releases such power towards you which furnishes you with strength in the face of fear and anxiety by flushing out the toxic energy. 

Getting around Gyana mudra bestows upon the dweller a feeling of security as the Muladhara chakra is primarily associated with survival and creates a solid foundation for opening all the other six chakras, promoting stability, confidence, energy and strength. 

LAM being the seed mantra of Root Chakra, it is advisable that you think or recite 'LAM'  as you gaze at the Gyana Mudra art around the southeast corner of your place as it helps to align happy energies towards you which unblock the Root chakra leading to bestowing upon you strength about physicality and a sense of courage about the worldly realms (profession, family, employment).
